Grade 7/8 - £34,189 to £50,132 per annum, dependent on experience
The Department of Computing is investing in its research and teaching capacity and as a response to our continuing growth in student numbers we are seeking an academic to teach within the subject area of Cyber Security.
You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality learning environment for students and contributing to the development of new and exciting courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be asked to join an existing research group in the department and work with colleagues to build both research capacity and deliver impact.
As well as the ability to inspire and motivate students, you will have relevant industrial experience and the ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences. You will have a master's degree in a computing related discipline and a well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues in at least one major area of Cyber Security or Digital Forensics.
