Full-Time, Permanent

Working in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Automotive Engineering, you will be committed to contributing to our continued success in delivery of engineering programmes. You will join a School with high levels of teaching quality and student satisfaction (ranked in the Guardian University Guide 2018 in the country'stop two for our courses in Mechanical Engineering).

The successful candidate will be able to contribute to the delivery of topics relating to automotive disciplines with a particular emphasis on vehicle dynamics.

You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge in your area of specialisation and support the school's research culture. You must be willing to work flexibly and promote and support international partnerships, as well as potentially deliver teaching onsite at one of our international partners.

The candidate should be qualified to PhDlevel in a relevant subject. Alternatively, candidates with relevant industrial experience to an equivalent level are also encouraged to apply.

Experience of working on applied research projects or contracts, as well as participation in professional practice/consultancy will be advantageous and successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of one of our Research Centres.

The position is also open to candidates who wish to focus on teaching practice, development and management.
