Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure QU Fire prevention and protection, risk assessment, evacuation, and emergency procedures are implemented
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections periodically to ensure QU facilities are in compliance with local statutory requirements
- Attend systems testing and commissioning during new projects handing over or the installation of new systems
- Organize and execute fire safety awareness campaigns and technical training for building occupants, security guards and contractors
- Assist building occupants during emergency evacuations and practice drills
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor Degree
- Firefighter Certification
- 5 to 7 years experiences including 3 year in similar role
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lead in emergency situations
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all management and staff
- Analytical and report writing Skills
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Knowledge of local statutory requirements
