Newcastle Business School is double AACSB accredited and Times Higher Education award winning. It has an outstanding reputation in the delivery of research informed applied programmes.  Our Accounting and Financial Management Department is particularly proud of its separate AACSB accounting accreditation, its commitment to an applied research agenda and high levels of student satisfaction on its programmes.

We are looking to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake independent and collaborative research, support students in the delivery of research projects, and make a significant contribution to the research profile of the Accounting and Financial Management.  You will be aligned with the counter-fraud and anti-corruption research team and will be part of the Northumbria Financial Crime Compliance Research Group.  You will contribute to the investigative work packages of a two year DFID funded anti-corruption project and contribute to on-going counter-fraud projects working with key external partners.

The post is suitable for applicants with a background in fraud management, forensic accounting, management accounting or data analytics. It provides the potential to contribute towards a number of exciting research and research underpinned projects working with colleagues in the department, the faculty and with external organisations.

In return you will receive support to develop your research, a senior academic mentor, as well as opportunity to gain experience in other areas of academic work.
