Overview

This diverse role is responsible for effectively handling frontline future student enquiries and undertaking administrative duties, as well as supporting the Future Student Events Coordinators with Future Student Events. This position is accountable for personal performance in the provision of selling the benefits of study with ECU, accurate information, advice and direction on a broad range of general University enquiries, handling enquiries through a broad variety of channels including face to face, Inbound/outbound calls, emails, chats, social media and Future Student tours and presentations. 

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver exceptional student experience at every interaction
  • Be diligent in recording interactions and following up enquiries
  • Provide accurate & relevant information in an efficient manner
  • Work in a small supportive team environment
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Support Future Students Team by preparing, packing and attending events

What you’ll have:

  • Have a genuine desire to help future students transform their lives through higher education
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Sales environment
  • Experience in using multiple enquiry channels and CRM’s
  • The ability to work on repetitive tasks and keep motivated
  • Demonstrate a can-do positive attitude & enthusiasm
  • Track record of working to & hitting performance targets
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Ability to work outside of standard business hours and undertake travel as required
  • Ability to undertake tasks which require some manual handling of materials and light equipment (e.g. packing/unpacking materials and banners)
  • Valid Working with Children Check

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time or part time 12 month fixed term position attracts remuneration of $64,161 to $68,440pa (HEW 4) plus University superannuation contribution.
