Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 493882), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D. degree, in nursing or a healthcare-related discipline, be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, and have at least 10 years’ post-qualification teaching experience in nursing at tertiary institutions.  They should have classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, and be competent in curriculum development.  Experience in education research will be an advantage.  Fluency in both English and Cantonese, and mentoring skills are essential.  The appointee will assume a leadership role in nursing education, and be responsible for the teaching and coordination of nursing courses.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
