Academic Leader

The MIECAT Institute, a fully accredited not for profit Higher Education provider located in Fitzroy Melbourne is committed to facilitating innovative, creative inquiry and scholarship that inspires new ways of making sense of lived experience. It delivers Masters and Doctoral programs in Therapeutic Arts Inquiry and Practice. MIECAT is seeking to appoint an academic leader to provide collaborative leadership with the Institute’s current teaching team, and to further develop the research, scholarship and community engagement aspects of the Institute’s program.

Applicants should have demonstrated academic leadership capacity, preferably in both teaching and research areas, and an interest in creative arts inquiry. A doctoral qualification is essential, although it may be in a cognate field. Knowledge of higher education compliance regulations is highly desirable.
