The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences deliver a broad spectrum of courses in the fields of agricultural science, environmental science, exercise and sports science, health science, medical imaging, medical science, medical sonography and paramedic science. The School also offers a range of vocational training options including beauty services; fitness, sport and recreation; hairdressing; health support and services; horticulture; laboratory skills and sampling and measuring; and workplace health and safety and safety investigation.

Your new role:

  • Perform assigned teaching duties with students on and off campus with a standard of planning, preparation, presentation and assessment as necessary for students to achieve unit and course objectives
  • Your main teaching area will be Anatomy and Physiology in the Clinical Science course and you will also assist in the further development of the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching.

You will bring to the position:

You will have:

  • Honours Degree or higher qualification, an extended professional degree, or a three year degree with a postgraduate diploma.
  • An understanding of current professional and educational issues in health and clinical sciences and the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality innovative courses and units using a range of learning and teaching styles including flexible learning and multi-campus delivery modes.
