We are seeking a self-motivated, personable individual with proven project administration skills to join a multidisciplinary academic team in the Centre for Academic Primary Care as primary care research administrator. The purpose of the job is to support research, primarily clinical trials, being led locally by Dr Matthew Ridd. As an integral member of the team, in this role you will provide administrative, project management and practical support to Dr Ridd and the researchers working on the project (including in other centres), as well as liaising with participants, GP practices and research networks.
The post requires strong organisational skills to administer and support various studies being delivered across multiple centres and general practices based in different Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) areas. The successful candidate will have a background in developing and delivering administrative processes and systems, preferably in a healthcare setting and with experience of supporting research studies.
