We are currently implementing an ambitious University strategy that will see us become the world’s leading applied university. Coupled with this the higher education sector is experiencing unprecedented levels of change and uncertainty. To help us navigate this changing external environment and help us keep on course for our journey we are currently seeking an experienced Policy and Planning Analyst to join our Strategy, Planning and Insight team.

In this role you will work closely with colleagues to provide high level support for the University's strategy, policy and planning activities.

You will be keen to apply your skills in the analysis of the internal and external environment to inform the bigger strategic picture. Your excellent communication and influencing skills will enable you to carry out horizon scanning activities, provide briefings and advice to influence key decisions.

Drawing on your excellent organisational abilities you will take a proactive lead in supporting the University's policy positioning and planning processes to ensure that they have impact across the University. Our fast moving, deadline-driven environment requires someone with initiative, confidence and the ability to manage your own workload.
