Assistant Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 493820) (to commence on March 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Doctoral Degree in Food Science and/or Nutrition, with at least 1-3 years’ teaching experience.  Solid knowledge of basic food chemistry, human physiology and nutritional science is essential.  Experience in teaching and course coordination in tertiary settings is highly desirable.  The appointee will teach food and nutritional sciences undergraduate courses, assist in the coordination and supervision of related laboratory courses, and undertake departmental administrative duties including the coordination of capstone courses.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
