The School of Education offers qualifications from degree through to postgraduate levels in education (early childhood, primary, secondary and vocational education and training), physical and outdoor education.
Reporting to the Dean, School of Education, an exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified candidate to provide leadership in the development and delivery of Education programs and courses at undergraduate and graduate levels including supervision of students undertaking project courses, honours and research higher degrees. You will also make an outstanding contribution to the School’s research program including high quality publications, successful grant applications, mentoring and leadership.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful you will have a proven record in the development and implementation of innovative postgraduate programs, demonstrated evidence of high-quality teaching, including a national record of research and publications relevant to Education disciplines. A significant record of achievement in the supervision of honours, masters and doctoral students as well as a commitment and ability to develop and lead a student-centred approach with a focus on student success.
The salary is within the Academic Level D range $139,277 to $153,435 p.a. or Academic Level E $179,407 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
