Assist Undergraduate Curriculum Chair in coordinating the administrative and advising aspects of the undergraduate program and courses for the Bioengineering (BE) Department including overseeing departmental undergraduate registration and course scheduling, maintain undergraduate records and course requirements and basic advising to supplement faculty advisor services and support and coordination of freshman advising program. Assist in preparation of the BE roster. Coordinate data collection, processing. and administrative aspects of accreditation processes. Provide undergraduate chair staffing support which includes, advising and providing analysis to faculty to assist long- and short-range undergraduate program planning. Provide staff support for undergraduate student groups in the department.

A High School Diploma or GED and 5 year to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Able to maintain confidentiality of records and sensitive information. Able to work professionally and tactfully with diverse faculty and students. Ability to take initiative and multi-task. Work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with student database/systems preferred, familiarity with Penn’s procedures and systems including Concur a plus.
