Job description

As postdoctoral researcher you are expected to contribute 80% of your time to research and tasks associated with project management, and 20% of your time to teaching. Teaching will be at both the undergraduate (BSc) and the graduate (MSc) level and will range from first-year tutorials to supervising MSc theses and possibly PhD courses. A substantial part of the school’s teaching is conducted in English, also at the undergraduate level; non-Dutch speakers are free to teach in English.

The position is funded by a NWO grant on 'Selective Attention and Economic Decisions', as outlined in the project proposal. All candidates with a strong background in Experimental Microeconomics and/or Economic Psychology will be considered. If you have an interest in the role of selective attention and motivated cognition surrounding ethical dilemmas in economic decision making, you are especially encouraged to apply. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to contribute to the topic of the research project, but is encouraged to develop additional lines of research. Research should be aimed at international top journals.

Candidates should have or be close to completing a PhD in Economics, Psychology, or related fields. You will be evaluated on your potential for and/or record of excellence in research and teaching.
