The Gavis Lab in the Department of Molecular Biology is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a postdoctoral research associate position. Research opportunities include projects relating to 1) RNA granule assembly and function; 2) localization-dependent translational control mechanisms; and 3) RNA-binding proteins in neuronal morphogenesis. A PhD is required. Candidates with background in computational biology are especially encouraged to apply. Researchers at the rank of postdoctoral research associate are ordinarily appointed for one year at a time. Appointments are reviewed annually to consider reappointment and salary level.
