Responsibilities*

To assist in the delivery of patient care in a variety of Ambulatory Care settings with responsibilities in Primary Care Clinics, Allergy Clinics, Internal Medicine and Surgery Clinics. This position includes care of adult and pediatric patients in family practice and specialty settings, both on and offsite locations. Includes providing routine prep, discharge, and equipment instruction, administer medications per written orders, set-up and assist with procedures, obtain vital signs and chief complaint, assist with daily clinic operations and patient flow, and other responsibilities as directed.**This position involves travel to various locations with in Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities including; Howell, Brighton, Ypsilanti, Livonia, Northville and Saline.

Required Qualifications*

-Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing-Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan-Completion of a pharmacology course in an accredited program-Adult and pediatric experienceNOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.RESUME REQUIRED (for both internal & external applicants):You must attach a complete and accurate resume to be fully considered for this position.

Work Schedule 

Hours/Week: 40 hours per week Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift; Mon- Fri; 8-hour shifts; variable hours between 7 AM - 6 PM Location: Ambulatory Care Nursing Resource Pool (ACNRP)Primary focus: Primary Care Clinics, Allergy Clinics, Internal Medicine and Surgery Clinics.**This position involves travel to various locations with in Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities including; Howell, Brighton, Ypsilanti, Livonia, Northville and Saline.
