DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS, Solve, to spearhead the fund-raising and partnerships strategy for Solve, designing, pitching, and closing partnerships of $100,000-$1million+. Will identify, develop, and manage relations with sponsors and partners in the U.S. and abroad, overseeing their engagement around Solve’s annual innovation cycle and main annual events; build systems and processes to streamline fund-raising activities; work closely with the director of international programs on driving Solve’s expansion strategy to implement Solve programs globally; oversee the engagement of Solve advisors, MIT Corporation members, and other VIP members of the MIT community with Solve; lead relations with MIT’s Resource Development, Industrial Liaison Program, Alumni Association, and other teams to coordinate the engagement of VIP stakeholders with Solve; deliver best-in class experience to sponsor delegates, Solve advisors, MIT Corporation members, and other VIPs at Solve events; and manage two staff members and project-based consultants.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or business development and two years’ experience in partnership, business development, or fund-raising on behalf of international social impact or nonprofit organizations; or a bachelor’s degree in the same five years’ experience. Seek a self-starter who has experience building relations with world-class international and domestic corporate, foundation, government, multilateral, and high-net worth individuals as donors and sponsors; designing, successfully negotiating, closing, and managing sponsor packages of $100,000-$1million+; relevant contacts in corporations, foundations, multilateral organizations, and governments that can be utilized immediately; working in a complex, multilayered environment with multiple stakeholders; and executing large-scale (500+ person) international events.
