The Division of Neuroscience and Experimental Psychology is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support for divisional staff and activities undertaken in the School of Biological Sciences (including senior academics and their teams). The post holder will be a key administrative point of contact within the division and will ensure questions, issues and concerns are dealt with effectively.
This is a dynamic and demanding role and will involve considerable flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks in order to deliver administrative support for the academic community within the division and wider community. You will ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers at all levels, to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day activities.
You will have significant experience of providing high quality administrative support within a busy dynamic environment, and will have excellent organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and IT abilities are essential.
