Responsible to:       Director of the Institute of Education, Programme Director
Starting Salary:        £8,407 per annum based on the full time rate of £42,036 per annum
Grade:                      Band J, Spinal Point 38
Hours:                       7.2 hours a week - 0.2 FTE (twilight/weekend teaching required)
Annual Leave:          7 days based on the full time rate of 35 days per annum
Contract Type:          Permanent

Due to the increasing popularity of the highly successful MA in Education programmes, we are now looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to join the Masters team. Applications are invited from practising educational professionals with particular experience and knowledge of:

  • Pedagogy
  • Educational Leadership and Management
  • Delivering CPD to teachers
  • Evidence-based educational practice

As Senior Lecturer, you will prepare and deliver the MA programmes to practicing educational professionals at all stages of their careers and in all phases of schooling and other educational contexts. The programmes are taught both in Institute-based centres and at the University and also as distance and blended programmes
