The University of Surrey is seeking to appoint a Relationship Manager to lead and develop the University’s relationships with dynamic international company UCF Group. This is a great opportunity for an energetic self-starter to work in an amazing team on the advancement of world-leading research in blockchain, big data, AI and digital health management, among other research strengths at the University.

The successful candidate will act as the key relationship manager for UCF, identifying and pursuing exciting opportunities for the University and UCF to partner in cutting edge research in the company’s key businesses and markets. The Relationship Manager will build rapport and develop relationships with the University’s academics, generating and leading proposals for further investment by UCF (both contractual and philanthropic) in key projects of mutual interest.

The Relationship Manager will be based in the Advancement team, reporting to the Head of Major Giving. Under the leadership of the President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Max Lu, the University has recently invested in and expanded its alumni and fundraising activities. This journey has just begun and it is a great time to join an energetic, engaged team as they work to develop relationships with the University’s 115,000 alumni and supporters around the world.

Founded in 2003, UCF Group’s core businesses of FinTech, Healthcare and Financial Services cover China's major provinces, as well as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It has also established branches in Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom and the United States. UCF Group is headquartered in Beijing, with overseas headquarters located in Hong Kong.

Fluent mandarin is essential.
