We’re busy making things better for the customers of the University’s shared HR Service, whether they’re one of our 12,000 employees, or 40,000 candidates who apply for our jobs each year.
We are looking for a talented HR Shared Service Operations Manager, to help lead and continue with plans to transform and improve HR shared service delivery. Ensuring our Employment Services team are equipped to deliver efficient HR transactional processing and enquiry handling with a real focus on customer excellence and satisfaction.

We require a strong people leader who recognises and can deliver exceptional service delivery and who has a proven track record of success in delivering service improvements through large teams during a period of change. We understand the right person for this role will have the ability to adapt between different skill-sets of leading and being visionary, to on occasions needing to be resilient and tenacious when dealing with high volumes and process improvement.
You will be ideally suited if you are a HR generalist with great shared service leadership or management experience, CIPD qualified (Chartered CIPD or equivalent). You are a natural leader with leadership behaviours, enjoys communicating excellently in all mediums and influencing along with building relationships to help to deliver transformational change.
