The University of Bristol are looking to appoint a Student Inclusion Manager with a strong commitment to widening participation and inclusive practice in higher education.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the University’s commitment to an inclusive learning environment where all our students can flourish. The role focuses on improving the experience, engagement and support for students from underrepresented groups and international students and will contribute to the wider inclusion agenda.

You will be a strong relationship builder with experience and knowledge of inclusion or widening participation, and a good understanding of the connection between equality, diversity, and student issues in higher education. A proven ability to take an evidence-led approach to service design and delivery would be an advantage.

You will have a positive and solution-focused approach to the challenges and opportunities for developing this area of work and be capable of influencing and advising a wide range of staff on inclusive practice. You will have experience of leading and developing a diverse team working in both student and staff-facing roles.

If you are keen to join a service that is creative, motivated and focused on making a difference to students, then we look forward to hearing from you.

For any informal enquiries please contact Zoe Pither, Head of Student Inclusion, zoe.pither@bristol.ac.uk before the 20th December 2018.

The closing date for applications is 11:59pm on the 3rd January 2019.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
