The SWDTP is the ESRC (Economic and Social Sciences Research Council) South West Doctoral Training Partnership for the Universities of Bristol, Bath, Exeter and the University of the West of England. We are seeking to recruit an administrator to join our small team, based in the Bristol offices.

Reporting to the SWDTP Manager, the postholder will ensure provide day to day administration duties to support all activities within the Hub.

This will mean working with professional services staff, academics and students across the five partner sites. The DTC Administrator will support the Director and Manager with general administrative support including arranging meetings and travel, as well as undertaking other duties related to our website, social media presence and organising events. There are a range of processes that require administrative support and we are often developing new activities to innovate our offer to our students and stakeholders. If you have administrative experience and are keen to further develop your skillset, you are warmly invited to apply for this position within our friendly team.

Interviews are likely to take place at the University of Bristol during week commencing 21 January 2019, date to be confirmed.

For informal enquiries please contact Sonja Ho (SWDTP Manager, Social Sciences and Law) by email at sonja.Ho@bristol.ac.uk.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
