Student Employability Centre
The Student Employability Centre is custodian of the UQ Employability Award, and coordinates and promotes a wide range of activities across UQ that empower students to enhance their employability including: global mobility; entrepreneurship and innovation; volunteering and mentoring; undergraduate research experiences; and leadership development opportunities.
The Centre enhances student employability through a focus on experiential learning, ensuring that students are able to capitalise on the benefits of the University’s diversity, research reputation and capacity, international partnerships, and strong links with industry and the professions. The Centre also provides financial supports to enable students to access experiences, as well as supports to translate, articulate, and transfer these experiences into the workplace. The role
This position supports and delivers Career Development Learning (CDL) activities and resources to enhance the employability of UQ’s students. As a Curriculum and ePortfolio Specialist, this role will work in partnership with academics, the Institute of Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI), and the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator to identify and develop CDL opportunities within the curriculum. The Adviser plays a key role in raising awareness of, and supporting students’ use of, ePortfolio as part of employability enhancement at UQ.
Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines. You should have experience delivering Career Development Learning, and developing resources and training materials, and an understanding of the value of utilising an ePortfolio to evidence employability development. You will have a strong desire to support the employability development of students, project management skills, and will be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

This is a full-time, continuing or fixed term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $83,633 - $91,350 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $97,851 - $106,879 p.a.).
