The Opportunity

The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking an excellent researcher to work in and administer the Statistical Consulting Service that provides statistical consulting support and services to Monash staff and students to underpin excellent research. The successful candidate will have a PhD, conduct independent and joint research and consulting within statistics, and will carry out activities to develop their research expertise relevant to the particular field of mathematics.

The candidate will be required to manage the statistical consulting service, including designing training workshops, assigning consulting work to the team of consultants, and undertaking consulting work themselves. The position will also involve teaching in the form of statistical training workshops for HDR students.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
