Position Description

The Harvard Graduate School of Design is currently seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow in the history and theory of architecture, landscape, and urbanism. This appointment is made to support scholars in residence to pursue research and half-time teaching under the general supervision of one or more Harvard faculty members. The fellowship carries an appointment as Lecturer in the Graduate School of Design.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of extension. Fellows are provided a salary commensurate with experience, benefits, and access to University resources.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must have received a doctoral degree in the history and theory of architecture or a related field at the time of the appointment, ordinarily, not more than two years prior to the appointment. The preferred candidate would have knowledge of modern architecture from 1900 to the present.
