A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Professor Philip Woodman to study the mechanism of endosomal sorting that leads to the down-regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor signalling. The project will focus on the assembly on the endosome of a protein scaffold that captures activated EGFR and generates the multivesicular body, en route to the lysosome. The project will apply a range of biochemical, imaging and molecular approaches to investigate the pathway. The position provides an opportunity to develop skills across a range of biochemical and cellular approaches. It is available for up to 5 years, and is available from 1st February 2019. Experience in molecular biology and cell biology is essential.
