The Research and Enterprise Department at Royal Holloway, University of London invites applications for a Research Services Officer.
Royal Holloway is a research intensive university with internationally leading researchers and research groups. The 2014 REF confirmed Royal Holloway as being in the upper quartile of universities in the UK for research which is rated ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
We are looking for an exceptional administrator who will play a key role in delivering effective day-to-day operational support and advice related to the costing and submission of research proposals. The post serves the purpose of bolstering administrative support to academic staff who apply for international and EU research funding and administering information about research grant applications.
The post will require previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a research or higher education environment, an aptitude for financial management and an eye for detail. An understanding of international funding sources is an advantage. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional relationships and networks at all levels within the organisation.
This is a full time, permanent post, available from January 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
