011047 - Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Continuous Flow Chemistry, UCD School of Chemistry (Permanent - Ideally commencing 3 September 2019)

UCD invites applications for a Permanent Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Above the Bar) Post in Continuous Flow Chemistry within UCD School of Chemistry.

The School of Chemistry at University College Dublin wishes to appoint an Assistant Professor in the area of Continuous Flow Chemistry with a starting date of Monday, September 3rd 2019.  This is a permanent full-time position based at the School of Chemistry in the O’Brien Centre for Science on the Belfield Campus. The successful candidate will have experience in continuous flow chemistry as applied to organic synthesis particularly in the development of flow-based approaches to novel transformations, the synthesis of bioactive heterocycles, and the total synthesis of natural products, with the potential to translate into pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and biomedical applications.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €52,848 - €83,090 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
