Associate Professor (Teaching) in Marketing

The role

Durham University Business School, with full international accreditation and a Financial Times Top 100 rank, is investing in posts at all levels, and across several disciplines as part of our ambitions to become a Top 20 European Business School. Among other vacancies, we seek to appoint an Associate Professor (teaching) in the Department of Management and Marketing. This is one of three research-intensive departments in the Business School that share an ambition to advance world-changing knowledge and secure global impact.

Our central purpose is to create, share and use knowledge to deliver equitable and sustainable futures around the world. We are looking for future colleagues who will lead and contribute to the development of world-class programmes and delivering an outstanding education. This will include designing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies using a wide variety of techniques as appropriate, such as technology-enhanced learning, the flipped class approach, case methods, experiential learning, and simulations. Experience in online teaching is desirable. We welcome colleagues with a passion for student learning and a desire to enhance an inclusive community of learning, in and beyond the school.
