The role

Durham University Business School, with full international accreditation and a Financial Times Top 100 rank, is investing in posts at all levels, and across several disciplines as part of our ambition to become a Top 20 European Business School. Among other vacancies, we seek to appoint an Assistant Professor in the area of Technology, Innovation, and Operations Management. The post is located in the Department of Management and Marketing, one of three research-intensive departments in the Business School sharing an ambition to advance world-changing knowledge and secure global impact.

Our central purpose is to create, share, and use knowledge to deliver equitable and sustainable futures around the world. Assistant Professor in Technology, Operations and Innovation: this post is required to build research leadership capacity in technology, innovation, and operations. We need to enhance our intellectual capacity and leadership in fields connected to disruptive innovation that interface with other business school disciplines and subjects across the institution, such as engineering. We also want to strengthen our capability in business analytics. The appointment will also contribute to the design and delivery of international collaborations.
