At Sheffield Hallam, we have a new Internal Communications service launching in January 2019. As we continue the delivery of our University Strategy, high levels of engagement and effective internal communications have a big part to play. We are looking for a talented, capable internal communications manager to help us with this.
Based in the Internal Communications team at City Campus, you will be developing and leading communications around strategic projects and change programmes. You'll work with colleagues across the University and be able to provide advice on communications strategy, as well as having enough tactical experience to deliver.
The goal for all of our communications activity is to support successful implementation of our Strategy by enabling and encouraging dialogue and comprehension among more than 4,500 colleagues.
You will have significant experience of advising senior stakeholders on, and devising and delivering, internal communications strategies.
You should be confident at delivering strategic communications across a range of channels and be able to use your initiative to drive projects forward. You should be able to demonstrate experience of successfully engaging audiences, using tactics and tools tailored to be appropriate to your audience.
You should have excellent planning and organisational skills and be capable of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
Interviews will take place on Monday 14 or Wednesday 16 January 2019. You will be notified by Friday 21 December whether you are being invited to interview.
