Salary: £16,146 to £17,079 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above role to join a team of technicians providing essential laboratory support to research laboratories in the School of Life Sciences to support the safe and effective operation of research activities. This role involves a moderate amount of physical activity, standing for much of the time, including lifting, carrying and moving materials and equipment and working across a number of locations within walking distance. Full training will be given.
Good general education evidenced by up to 5 GCSE (grade C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English, or previous experience in a relevant role.
This is a permanent part-time post for a maximum of 35 hours per week across five days Monday to Friday; applications will also be considered from candidates wishing to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
