Starting Salary: £19,094.40 per annum + shift allowance of £1,621 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week over a shift (see detailed shift pattern description in the Job Description). 
Term: Permanent

St Mary’s University, Twickenham, are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Person to join our dedicated and busy team. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking daily waste and recycling collection and disposal duties at St Mary’s University.

Duties will include carrying out a waste collection service, pushing and maneuvering large wheeled bins on and off a trailer or into position within a waste compound, emptying litter and cigarette bins, operation of waste and recyclable material compaction or baling equipment and general campus care duties to maintain clean and tidy external spaces and street furniture.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, is well organised and able to work well on their own and as part of a team. You will have a full driving licence and previous experience undertaking waste management duties is desirable, however training will be provided.

You will also be expected to work flexibility, including working some weekends, in order to meet the needs of the service.
