The Psychology Subject Group at Sheffield Hallam University is looking for Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Psychology, with expertise in health psychology. This is an exciting time to join the department, as we build on our successful student recruitment and expanding research presence.

You will contribute to excellent research and teaching within the Department, in particular to the MSc Health Psychology. You will also teach across core areas of Psychology, in order to contribute to our vibrant portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate awards and undertake module leadership, pastoral tutorial support and dissertation supervision.

To deliver high quality teaching in the area of health psychology, you must have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of the practical and theoretical issues relevant one or more of the core areas of psychology and expertise in health psychology, with a particular emphasis on behaviour change. You will also have evidence of a contribution to knowledge in the field of health psychology (i.e. publications in peer reviewed journals) and experience of teaching and supervising students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. A PhD (or close to completion of a PhD) in health psychology is also essential.
