Applications are invited to the above role to support the Faculty Marketing and Communications Manager and School Operations Manager in the development and delivery of the University’s strategic marketing and communications plan, with a focus on student recruitment and conversion activities for all market segments, research communications and knowledge exchange within the School of Life Sciences.

Candidates must hold a HNC or HND in a relevant subject, or equivalent qualifications/certification, plus considerable experience in a relevant role. A marketing related professional qualification or working towards a marketing related professional qualification would be desirable.

The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including the implementation of marketing plans, gathering market insight, adapting marketing tactics and creating content for a range of digital and print communications. The role holder will curate, review and monitor existing print and online content in order to develop and manage the School’s profile and increase engagement.

The role holder is responsible for ensuring all online and published materials communicate consistent messages, adhere to brand guidelines, and are written using the appropriate tone and voice for diverse audiences as well as ensuring continuous improvement by tracking the success of campaigns using agreed KPIs.
