We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with excellent analytical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must be experienced in carrying out feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business requirements, preparing robust business cases, etc. that support the identification and selection of IT solutions to deliver genuine business benefits.
You will be a strong communicator with experience of demonstrating opportunities for improvement in business processes, information systems and information management activities working closely with both with the business and IT colleagues to define current and future states and the potential benefits of change for the business.
You will also have experience of supporting technical and non-technical colleagues in the development and implementation of IT solutions, supporting users in the design and delivery of acceptance tests and in the exploitation of new solutions to maximise the delivery of defined benefits.
Experience of planning, organising and facilitating workshops and managing relationships with clients/users is also essential with an ability to ensure the proper conduct of such activities at all times.
The main purpose of the role is to support the University in the identification, specification, selection and implementation of IT solutions that will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organisation.
The role will be responsible for undertaking assignments across project and/or service functions as required and will provide opportunities to work on a diverse range of IT projects.
