We are seeking an experienced research project manager to fulfil the role of Trial Coordinator for FRANK friends. This is a multicentre randomised controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a school-based peer-led drug prevention intervention.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and organised research project manager who has worked on RCTs or with other relevant study designs to join the Centre for Public Health (CPH) within Population Health Sciences at Bristol Medical School. Led by Cardiff University, the trial will run over 40 months beginning in March 2019.

The post holder will work closely with Professors Rona Campbell and Matt Hickman (Co-Applicants - Bristol), Dr James White (Principal Investigator – Cardiff) and his study team. The team in Bristol will include two Research Associates across the duration of the trial and a research administrator.

Dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate, appointment will be made to either the Research and Teaching or the Professional/Administrative pathway. For Research and Teaching role please see ACAD103653.

Selection process will take place on Thursday 20 December 2018.
