The University of Greenwich is looking to recruit a Maternity Cover Enterprise Development Manager (EDM) for our Business Faculty. The role is initially until June, but with the possibility of extension. A part-time appointment would be considered.

You will work closely with academic colleagues, and be responsible for stimulating and developing opportunities to grow enterprise income and to create research impact from collaborative and contract research, consultancy, CPD, KTP and commercialisation activities.

As the EDM responsible for Business you will be part of Faculty focussed Research and Enterprise support, and will work together with colleagues to support the delivery of the University’s Research and Enterprise Strategy. You will proactively identify and secure funding opportunities to support enterprise, whilst developing and cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with businesses and enterprise partners.

You will be looking to effectively market the University’s research and development capabilities to commercial and non-commercial audiences, whilst providing exceptional support to academic colleagues. You will be able to work on your own initiative, and be highly collaborative and entrepreneurial.

We aim to be an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
