The Faculty of Education and Health is seeking to appoint a full-time research assistant to support capacity building in the faculty until 31 July 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic research active faculty with a strong commitment to further growth. The research assistant will support capacity growing and the development of a new Institute of Lifecourse Development. Research conducted by the faculty is varied (http://www.gre.ac.uk/eduhea/research) and focuses on a wide range of issues in a variety of contexts and with a range of different participants. Advanced knowledge and experience of, project management, research methodologies and sound statistical skills, and the ability to support staff and to work effectively within a research team are essential.

The successful applicant will work across the faculty supported by the Director of Research and Enterprise. The focus of the role will be supporting staff at various levels of research. Activities will include:
