In addition to clinical supervision, the successful candidate will be mentored and supported to engage in wider teaching and assessment of undergraduate students and will contribute to course administration.

The successful candidate will have experience of working as a dental hygienist / therapist in a Primary Care setting, along with experience in clinical training and supervision of the dental team.  With a Diploma in Dental Hygiene Therapy, or a Degree in Oral Sciences or Dental Hygiene and Therapy post holder must be registered with the GDC as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist.

An active networker, with excellent clinical and communication skills, the successful candidate will have the ability to work well within a team and will be IT literate in the use of standard Microsoft packages.  The work requires some travel to the Preston campus and hence you must have the ability to travel independently between sites.
