The post is based in the School of Psychology and is to assist with a project funded by the Royal Society, which represents a collaboration between Psychology, Sport & Wellbeing, the University of Salford and Wigan Warriors RLFC. The project aims to monitor cognitive functioning at the pitch side in elite rugby players across one playing season.
The successful applicant will have a good honours degree or equivalent professional experience working in elite rugby league. It is also essential that they have experience in health and/ or sport related research and research methods. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly including some weekends, and must be independent and highly self-motivated as the post requires data collection in the field.
