Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Law
The College of Law, National Chengchi University in Taiwan, invites applications for tenure-stream appointments in five fields of law at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. For the positions in Property Law and Family Law the start date is August 1st, 2019. The appointment for other three fields will begin on February 1st, 2019.

Our interested fields include (1) Constitution Law, Administrative Law, or Public International law (particularly Tax law or Multicultural Law); (2) Property Law; (3) Family Law; (4) Social Law (including Social Security Institutions, Social Insurance, Welfare Service, Public Assistance, and social-related Constitutional Law or Administrative Law); and (5) any legal subject that is suitable for joint appointment with the College of Commerce. Qualified candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in one of the aforementioned fields or related fields by the date of appointment. Duties will include teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels in respective fields, supervision of advanced undergraduate and graduate students, maintaining an innovative, independent, productive research agenda, and participating in the academic life of the College.

Successful candidates must have a record of excellence in research and in teaching. Evidence of excellence in research will be demonstrated through publications in top ranked academic journals, presentations at significant conferences, awards and accolades, and strong endorsements by referees. Evidence of excellence in teaching will be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, strong letters of reference, and the teaching statement. A strong command of oral and written English is required.

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Complete applications will include: (1) Taiwan Civil Servant Resume (Curriculum Vitae included), one copy; (2) Certificate of highest academic degree obtained, one copy; (3) Research focus and further plan; (4) Teaching statement, including teaching ideas and course design (at least two courses); (5) Publication list and representative academic works (including doctoral dissertation) within 5 years, two copies (if representative works were written in language other than Chinese, please provide long Chinese abstract to summarize the whole work); (6) Description of the way to help the College to cooperate with international academic institutions and engage in interdisciplinary studies.
