Applications are invited for appointment as Non-Tenure Track Professor of Chinese Medicine Practice in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 492542), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess (i) a recognized Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine registrable with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong; (ii) a Ph.D. degree in Chinese Medicine or related fields; (iii) more than 20 years’ full-time clinical and teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level in tertiary institution(s); (iv) demonstrated excellence and leadership in curriculum development; (v) proven evidence of international/regional recognition of clinical excellence; and (vi) proven achievements in research and publications at international level.  They should be fluent in both written and spoken English.  Ability to speak Cantonese would be an advantage.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
