The primary purpose of this position is to perform research in developing innovative nanomaterials and nanotechnology for healthcare application. The successful candidate will be involved in nanomaterials design, preparation and characterization and developing novel systems for drug delivery, cancer therapy and immunotherapy. You will be active in various levels of grant applications and provide laboratory leadership and supervision of honours and postgraduate students.
Applicants should have a PhD in nanotechnology, materials engineering or bioengineering and demonstrated expert knowledge in nanotechnology and biology. You will have the ability to independently research and develop experimental procedures to solve a given problem and be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your high level communication (including written skills) and inter-personal skills will see you succeed in this role.

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment until 30 June 2021 at Research Academic Level A. The remuneration package will be in the range $83,295 - $89,285 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $97,456 - $104,464 p.a.).
