- Academic Level A Base Salary: $92,682 p.a. - $98,940 p.a. plus leave loading and a generous employer’s contribution to superannuation.
About the opportunity
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our research team to continue a laboratory research program investigating conserved regulators of disease. This project will involve the use of rodent pain models, pain behavioural assays, molecular biology and potentially human stem cells. This work will then be collated and prepared for peer-review publication.

- PhD in Pharmacology or closely-related discipline.
- Ability to design appropriate experiments to address the underlying research question
- Rodent pain models, in specific neuropathic pain, low back pain and spinal cord injury models
- Tissue culture experience and Molecular biology techniques
The Faculty of Science is one of six faculties operating within the University and includes the Schools of
Chemistry, Geosciences, History and Philosophy of Science, Life and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Psychology, and the Sydney School of Veterinary Science.
