The Role & Your Responsibilities
The Contracts Development Manager is accountable for leading a small team of Contracts Officers to develop appropriate agreements for all activities and for providing expert commercial advice and recommendations, for negotiating and facilitating the drafting of complex contracts and providing high level managerial oversight of those contracts pre-execution. The contracts developed by the team cover the full range of College activities including research projects, consultancies, student practical placements and the delivery of training award programs and are informed by risk assessments.
Skills & Experience Required
As a passionate leader you will be able to develop, guide and manage a team to deliver high quality services in a complex and dynamic environment. Substantial commercial acumen and demonstrated experience negotiating a wide range of contracts with a variety of different industries and developing and managing research contracts with national and international funding bodies will be essential to your success in this role.
