The Role and Your Responsibilities

The School of Design and Social Context (DSC) are on the look-out for a talented, motivated candidate to perform the duties of Selection Officer. This role sits within the Admissions and Pathways team and reports to the Senior Coordinator, Selection. The DSC College Selection team provides the assessment and management of prospective student applications. The Selection Officer works with online admissions systems to provide a responsive selection service for DSC.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work effectively within an administrative team, preferably in a tertiary education setting. You will have experience and expertise in the provision of quality academic administration services, including the capacity to quickly gain knowledge of policies and procedures and how to apply them. You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communicative abilities to appropriately handle diverse audiences, as well as effectively managing priorities through strong organisational skills.
