Job Summary

We desire a dynamic Clinical Subjects Coordinator to support the administrative and research subject coordination of various clinical trials in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology with general supervision from the primary investigator and Clinical Research Project Manager.


  • Assist study team in all aspects of clinical research coordination
  • Collect or manage the collection of biological specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Maintain and record all subject’s data into CRF and electronic medical records
  • Manage site visits performed by external sponsors
  • If needed, the CSC will assist in IRB electronic submissions and reporting
  • Prepare study start up documents
  • Prepare study folders for start up
  • Phlebotomy Experience
  • Participation in division-wide efforts at continuous quality improvement and cost reduction efforts in pediatric pulmonology
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications*

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health related research field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Demonstration of understanding of Medical Terminology
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Excellent attendance, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and the ability to exercise good judgement is a must.

Desired Qualifications*

  • Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator is preferred/or working toward

Additional Information

Supervision is received from the Principal Investigator of each clinical trial and/or the clinical Research Project Manager.  Staff in this classification are expected to work independently and regularly exercise good judgement in setting priorities, resolving operational problems, and the application of policies, procedures and methods, while maintaining the strictest of confidentiality at all times.

Background Screening
