SCS is looking to appoint a full-time K grade who will be managing the operational processes within the service. We are looking for an experienced counsellor who will have significant clinical experience and evidence of managerial experience. The successful applicant would need to manage the demands of the service, be a proactive member of the senior management team, take on some line management as needed. Supervision qualification would be an advantage.

The Student Counselling Service sits within the student services division which has recently undergone a restructuring of student support. This means there is a much more collaborative approach between SCS and the rest of the student services.

This is a fixed term, full time role.

Further information on SCS is available at http://www.bristol.ac.uk/student-counselling/

The closing date for applications is 11th December 2018.

Interviews are anticipated to be held on 19th December.

Enquires can be directed to Rachel Pillar or Jane Baker (Interim Heads of Counselling) on 0117 394 0123.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
